How to get spilled candle wax out of the carpet using steam
I don’t know very many people who don’t enjoy candlelight. There’s just something special about the soft light and relaxing scent of your favorite candle fragrance.
But the problem with candles is that melted wax can overflow onto hard-to-clean surfaces where it’s not supposed to be – like table tops, table cloths or the candle sticks themselves. There’s nothing worse than a candle tipping and spilling wax all over a rug. How the heck are you supposed to clean up wax from the carpet fibers?
Instead of calling a professional carpet cleaning service to get rid of the spilled wax, just use the Sargent Steam BRZ2 steamer.
First, place a paper towel at the edge of the wax. Then use the jet nozzle (tip up) and low steam pressure to re-melt the wax and force it onto the paper towel. With the nozzle pointed up toward the paper towel, you’ll force the re-melted wax up and out, not down farther into the carpet fibers. Next, cover the two-inch brush with a clean cloth and use it to pick up any leftover waxy residue. If you are feeling extra ambitious, use the floor brush covered with a clean cloth and clean the entire carpet!
It makes cleaning a breeze. Another benefit to using the BRZ2 is that it allows you to save money on cleaning because you won’t be forced to spend your hard-earned cash on store bought carpet cleaners. Forget the days when you wasted money relying on professionals to help clean household items. Using steam is a great all natural cleaning method that is safe to use in your home and around your kids.
