How to clean your wedding band using steam

The day I married my husband 40 years ago is one I will never forget. Every wedding anniversary, we make it a point to look over our wedding album. It fills our hearts with such fond memories and takes me back to that special day.
When I’m not perusing old wedding photos, I take a minute each day in between household chores to remind myself how lucky I am to be married to such a fantastic man. I do that by looking at my wedding ring. And although I wouldn’t trade this invaluable possession for anything, one thing I would like to get rid of is the dirt and grime that is taking the gleam and bling out of my precious ring!
I tried everything. I took my wedding band to jewelery stores, where they overcharged me and took three to five days to clean it. I said no thank you. Imagine me, a grown married woman without her wedding band! That was just unacceptable to me.
During a ladies lunch, I was talking to my neighbor who first opened my eyes to Sargent Steam (I still owe her a big batch of homemade cookies for letting me use her BRZ2 steamer before buying one for myself!) She told me I could use my Sargent Steam BRZ2 steamer to clean my wedding band. I was pretty excited!
After coming home, I immediately took out my steamer, followed my neighbor’s instructions and attached the one-inch soft brush that came with my Deluxe Steam Kit and went to work. As the steamer heated up, I had a good feeling this was going to work. I blasted the gunk out from under the stones with the soft brush in small circles and the dirt and dulling residue came right off!
It took just a few minutes and my wedding band was sparkling like new! To dry it off, I used the Microfiber cloth that came in my kit, and my ring was shiny as the day my “hubby” gave it to me! Using my BRZ2 steamer offered me effective, chemical free cleaning. What more could a wife want?
