"I have severe chemical allergies so it was always a choice between a clean house or being healthy. It's so wonderful to be able to have both the clean house I love and my health."

CLEAN SHOWER DOORS
Time allotted: 30 minutes (45 minutes with tracks).
Tools needed: Calgon powdered water softener, white vinegar, Bon Ami, Lime-away, and a toothbrush.
Spray on a soap scum-removing cleaner, or swab with a mixture of 1/2 cup powdered water softener (like Calgon) dissolved in 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 quart water. For heavy buildup, apply a paste of a gentle powdered cleanser (like Bon Ami), powdered water softener, and water.
Allow to set several minutes. Scrub, rinse, and wipe dry. Next, apply spray cleaner to the tracks, and scrub with a narrow brush or toothbrush; rinse.
There is an alternative >
Time allotted: 20 minutes including tracks.
Tools needed: A Sargent Steam cleaner, Orange Glow Power Paste, and paper towels.
Steam away soap scum with the jet nozzle. If hard water spots are a problem, spread a thin layer of Orange Glow Power Paste on the glass and let it sit a minute. It is a very mild, very effective alternative to acid-based cleaners. Steam it off with the 2-inch detail brush. The jet nozzle will blast everything…soap & shampoo scum, mold, hair out of all the grooves in the tracks. Catch the debris at the end of the track with a paper towel.
